But I, his grandson, can't see them, or name them, and I presume that grandma [Elma Reynolds] was not a perfect woman, I grant that, because she was mortal, but I, her grandson, never recognized a blemish in her lovely character. If they did have imperfections which other could see, they were so dimmed by their magnificent virtues that they were as inconspicuous as a tallow candle in the glare of the midday sun."
