Additional Information:
"ISAAC AMSDEN, the progenitor of the family in America is first recorded in the history of our country when the record of his marriage to France Perriman appears in the Cambridge Records, June 6, 1654. Frances was said by one authority to be the daughter of John Perriman, but it is thought that this is merely conjecture, since the genealogist and historian Dr. Savage says that her father is unknown, which is more than likely to be correct.
"The two sons Isaac and Jacob were both baptized the third of November, 1661, their mother Frances was admitted to full communion and fellowship on October 21, 1661."
