The GEDCOM file is a plain text file with a ".ged" extension. When you click on the "Download" link below, the text of the GEDCOM file should display in this frame. To copy the file to your hard drive, make sure that this frame is selected, and choose "File->Save As" in your menu bar. If you get a choice of saving the file as "Source" or "Text", you should select "Source". When the file finishes downloading, you should be able to launch your genealogy program and import the dowloaded file as a GEDCOM file.
